Andrew O'Malley is a Canadian visual artist and dj; spinning for ten years, and taking initial inspiration from the 90's Detroit techno sound.

With custom lighting, live video, and guest dj's from across Canada, he co-hosts the successful monthly event, Techcetera, building new audiences for electronic music in Canada's capital city, Ottawa.

The broad appeal of his unique blend of minimal techno, house, electro, and down-tempo results in regular invitations to play at a variety of events -- from private parties to afterhours clubs to art vernissages -- in cities such as Ottawa, Toronto, New York, Amsterdam, Dublin, and Berlin.

As a dj, his musical role is to share new sounds with new audiences; and his technical role is to explore and exploit the mix, often incorporating loops and effects, while using smooth programming and varied transitions to create unique, spontaneous sets appropriate to the mood of the crowd.
